Ordered bike light online which I had to collect in store. Was not informed when it was there for collection so went on off-chance (this is after trying to buy one in store but being ignored twice). Kept waiting ages with no apology and when item was eventually given to me, it was in a really damaged box – again no apology. Went to pay only to be told I’d have to go downstairs if it was cash. Went downstairs and met with the rudest man ever who declared “I don’t know why you’ve come down here”. Halfords then sent me an email asking for my feedback – I gave it. Absolutely no response for weeks. Happened to go in store again to be completely ignored by same assistant!!

  1. Re-emailed head office. Eventually telephoned by very apologetic assistant manager at the store who refunded my money, allowed me to keep the light and apologised for his colleague.
